Aspen has a very rich cultural history that dates back as far as when the original ski lifts were installed in the late 1940s. As we find ourselves mid-summer there is still time to participate in the events, live music, theater, and art.
Aspen being a place of renewal and connection of the mind, body and spirit—the “Aspen Idea” is a concept that has driven the cultural scene and is embodied in the Aspen Institute, Aspen Music Festival & School, Aspen Art Museum, Aspen Film, and Anderson Ranch Arts Center to name a few.
